The last 8 years have failed to produce the kind of change that the country required to lift it up instead the political and economic crisis has worsened.

It is generally agreed that the political stalemate of the last 8 years is a reflection of a leadership deficit that is characteristic of many post colonial states in which fear is the optimal currency used to regulate and manage political behaviour under the guise of consensus and nation building.

In a few hours' time I will join all patriots that will make speeches at the Zim Embassy in Pretoria.

My own message to Cde Simon Khaya-Moyo will be:

My brother you have been a freedom fighter all your life. You are now part of Robert Mugabe's unfortunate project to humiliate and urinate on the dignity of the Zimbabwean peoples.

Please quickly leave that evil project and join us to fight the one devil among us ie Robert Mugabe.

You owe that to Dr Joshua Mqabuko Nyongolo Nkomo, Cde Sidney Malunga, General Look-out Masuku and all the gallant fighters who died fighting tyranny.

Black tyranny has a habit of being worse than white tyranny!

That's the theme of my key-note address this morning.

FOLLOWING Simba Makoni’s decision to run for President on March 29, the time may be ripe for opposition faction leader Morgan Tsvangirai and Arthur Mutambara to pack in and run for parliament instead.

Mutambara acknowledges his limits in the presidential race at the present moment and regards himself really as a future president. This is why, in my opinion, he has been ready at various times in the unity discussions between the two MDC factions to play second fiddle to Morgan.

For the past 8 years Mugabe has wailed that the Britons are responsible for the ills that have befallen Zimbabwe, in turn Morgan has blamed Mugabe.What is the point is that Mugabe as the incumbent leader has failed to protect his country against foreign forces hence he is useless as a leader.

Morgan has failed to oust Bob hence the need to try a new strategy with different people.It is time for both to get out and leave the political scene. They are both not presidential material.

PERSISTENT PERSECUTION OF THE CHURCH CONTINUES IN ZIMBABWE!!!

"SWRADIOAFRICA" report....

South African police on Wednesday raided the Central Methodist Church in Johannesburg that has been sheltering Zimbabwean refugees, asylum seekers and homeless people. Some of the police were heavily armed as they stormed the church compound around midnight, claiming they were searching for drugs and guns. Although they found nothing they arrested 1500 homeless people. Many have been released without charge but an estimated 300-500 are still in police cells. They are due to appear in court on Friday.

"Gerty died with a conviction that the system of oppression, the barricades set up to exclude others could be dismantled.

Up to her untimely death Gerty and I were in a conversation about choices to do with our future- about the transformation of the MDC into an elite party – about reclaiming the party- about leadership deficiencies in some of our comrades.

This debate was further stimulated by the unfair sacking of Lucia Matibenga, another founder member – another tormented soul.

I was disillusioned – she had hope. I was broken – she was fighting......."
